C4 Cactus Citroen Compact Concepts Salón de Frankfurt
The Citroën Cactus M will be presented at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show

We continue with the novelties that will be on show at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show in just a few days. This time we will focus on the Citroën Cactus M, a concept car that the French company will unveil at the German event. If the Citroën C4 Cactus already brought a breath of fresh air to the French brand’s design, now it takes a step further and presents a version of this car that will surprise us a little more.
The car has been designed following the guidelines already seen on the Citroën Aircross, but blending them with the concept of the legendary Méhari. It shares with it the philosophy of an open car, ready to head outdoors, offering a unique life experience. Access to the rear seats can be made by stepping over the body’s edge, just as was done in that very distinctive model.
The lack of a roof is not a problem, since the interior cabin is designed so that it can be hosed down without issue. In fact, it can be cleaned with a garden hose, as there are several drains inside that let water run out instead of collecting inside. With these features, it is no surprise that they drew inspiration from the world of surfing. As for the upholstery, it features coloured neoprene that makes the seats watertight.
In addition, the Citroën Cactus M has a crossover spirit, allowing the driver to move comfortably over various types of terrain, searching for the right spot to enjoy the adventure they are looking for. The modularity of the cabin lets the seats be converted into a bunk, and its soft top can also be used as a tent, always with the open air and the enjoyment of nature in mind.
