The Citroën Jumpy gets a complete redesign and is unveiled to the public

It has been more than 20 years since the Citroën Jumpy hit the market, a commercial vehicle that has been very popular throughout this time, with around 600,000 units built. This new generation of the Jumpy is built on the new modular platform based on the EMP2, thanks to which it incorporates significant improvements in safety, ergonomics and functionality, which is very important for a vehicle designed for work.
The length of this model varies according to the needs of the owner and user. Thus, it ranges from 4.60 metres for the shortest version, through 4.90 metres, up to 5.30 metres for the longest model. The height of the two smallest versions is 1.90 metres, which allows it to access most car parks, something that does not usually happen with this type of vehicle.
The model’s maximum payload is 1,400 kg, with up to 6.6 cubic metres of cargo capacity, and the estate version can seat up to 9 passengers comfortably. In addition, the seats can be moved to create a very flexible configuration, adjustable to the required conditions at any time.

As for the engines, there are 1.6 and 2.0-litre diesel engines ranging from 95 CV with a manual gearbox up to 180 CV with an EAT6 automatic gearbox. It also features a series of safety technologies that make it a safer vehicle than we might have imagined. One of these is the rear camera, which provides a view of the rear that is very useful for parking and for manoeuvring in low-visibility places when loading.
Other technological features such as the projection of data onto the windscreen and the Citroën Connect Nav navigation system, which can be operated via the touchscreen and voice commands, although there is further safety technology to improve driving.
