The Cupra Formentor makes its appearance ahead of Geneva
Cupra has revealed the first details of the Cupra Formentor ahead of its official presentation in Geneva.
Seat and Cupra will have some of the most “crowded” stands at the Geneva Motor Show. Both manufacturers will officially present a wide range of highly anticipated models. In the case of Cupra, and building up excitement, it is showing us the first details of the Cupra Formentor.
A versatile car, made as a crossover and very sporty
Cupra will draw attention in Geneva with the official presentation of the Formentor and the Cupra León. Both the compact and the crossover will stand out for their dynamism and power.

The Cupra Formentor is presented as a mid-size crossover, which will also incorporate the plug-in hybrid option, as will the Cupra León or the Volkswagen Golf GTE.
Its power will range from 242 CV, and its electric range will give it a total of 50 kilometres, which is perfect for your daily commutes without having to use petrol.

A petrol-only 2.0 TSI version is also expected, with 296 CV. This will be the most radical option, for those who want a crossover that stands out for its sportiness and dynamism.
The Formentor will share its platform with the Cupra León. The latter will be available, for the first time, with all-wheel drive and 306 CV of power, no joke…
Customers looking for sporty SUVs will also have the chance to admire the Tarraco FR in Geneva, another outstanding option for this in-demand segment, which shows no sign of stopping its growth.

The Geneva Motor Show will take place next week. We will tell you all the details about the most anticipated models, but for now, it is always welcome when brands give us previews to fuel our enthusiasm.
