Driving errors are sometimes unavoidable. Total control of our brain or our physical reactions are not perfect. One of the few things we can do in this kind of situation is try to keep calm and act with a cool head.

Today we received a video of a driver of a Lexus RX who seemed to be anything but concentrated. We don’t know whether his emotions took control of his actions, but what we do know is the surreal number of chained mistakes he made.

As we can see in the images, first, the driver of the Lexus forgets to use the mirrors, invading the lane on his right and nearly colliding with other vehicles.

Next, he runs a red light at an intersection, almost crashing into the cars passing through it. To make matters worse, when trying to fix his mistake, he reverses without noticing that a pedestrian was passing by, nearly causing another disaster, which was avoided only thanks to the pedestrian’s own skill.

It is worth highlighting the reflexes of the latter, who, had he been looking at his smartphone (something very common these days), would have suffered a direct impact that could have been tragic. This shows that a zebra crossing is not the safe place it appears to be; one must stay alert.

One can only wonder, how did all this happen? In this case, I cannot give you a reasonable explanation, as it is sadly comical and surreal. The only conclusion that can be drawn is that the driver must have been very nervous due to the multiple dangerous situations and let his emotions get the better of him instead of acting with a cool head.

In any case, the most important thing to highlight is that miraculously, the accidents were avoided and nobody was injured. That said, after this, I don’t think this driver will take reckless risks again, at least for a while…
