The future technologies that Nissan will present at CES

Nissan is preparing a series of new products for CES, the most notable of which is a system that interprets the signals from the driver’s brain to assist with driving.

Nissan has several new products for CES (the International Consumer Electronics Show) lined up that are sure to make an impression. From technology that reads the driver’s brain waves to the best-selling electric vehicle in the world, Nissan will give CES 2018 visitors a glimpse of its vision for the future of mobility – a future with more autonomy, more electrification and more connectivity.

Among the premieres that Nissan will unveil at the event in Las Vegas (USA) is the pioneering Nissan Brain-to-Vehicle (B2V) technology. This innovative system interprets the signals from the driver’s brain to assist with driving and help the vehicle’s systems, both autonomous and manual, learn from the driver. The technology aims to speed up reaction times and will allow cars to adapt to the driver for a more enjoyable drive.

At CES, Nissan will also showcase two cars with great potential: the Nissan Imx Concept, an electric and autonomous SUV concept, and the new Nissan Leaf.

Making its regional debut, the Nissan IMx will offer a range of up to 600 km on a single charge. The prototype will be built on a completely redesigned platform. The car offers a set of autonomous driving capabilities, four seats and an electric powertrain with more torque than the Nissan GT-R.

For its part, the new generation of the Nissan LEAF, one of the best-selling electric vehicles in the world, combines the thrill of 100% electric driving with advanced technologies such as ProPILOT (Nissan’s current autonomous driving system), the e-Pedal and greater connectivity than its predecessor. The new representative of Nissan’s intelligent mobility went on sale in Japan in October 2017.
