The Geneva Show is cancelled!
It’s official!. The 2020 Geneva Motor Show has been cancelled due to the Coronavirus. The event itself has officially announced its decision, and there is no turning back.
It’s official. The Geneva Motor Show has been cancelled as a precaution against the Coronavirus. The Swiss government has imposed a last-minute law stipulating that gatherings of people, events or crowds exceeding one thousand people may not take place.
An unexpected news
The media and the motoring world are in shock. The most important annual motor event has been cancelled at the last minute and unexpectedly.

The Coronavirus is casting its shadow once again, and as already happened with the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, it is now happening in Geneva too.
The event is therefore officially and fully cancelled. There was a small possibility of holding it with few people, or with very specific means, and indeed behind closed doors, but it seems that in the end, cancellation has been chosen.
Rumours suggest the event could be postponed until September, although others consider it completely lost.
The number of those affected is huge, and although attendees will get their ticket money refunded, many people will lose the entire cost of their plane ticket to get to Geneva.

Members of the Swiss Government
To make matters worse, the manufacturers are unlikely to be very happy, especially after having transported all their vehicles, prototypes and everything else to the European country.
The repercussions could be very severe, and depending on the consequences and how they are handled, the show may stop being held in this country for a long period as a symbol of protest.

We regret having to bring you this bad news. We have spent weeks preparing for all the launches that, in the end, will not be made officially at the event. We assume the brands will release the information on their own portals and, on our side, we will continue to bring you the latest news.
