The Jaecoo 7 SHS delivers outstanding power, yet with reduced consumption
This plug-in hybrid model features two electric motors combined with a combustion engine, offering low maintenance costs and savings in running expenses.

The plug-in hybrid system is gaining ground over electric cars that have not achieved the acceptance that was expected. Combining an electric motor with a combustion engine allows the driver to achieve quite appealing performance with fairly low consumption. In the case of the Jaecoo 7 SHS, we are looking at a plug-in hybrid SUV that promises exactly that.
In this model’s case, we are dealing with a vehicle that , in addition to low consumption, offers maintenance costs that are also lower than those of other similar models with combustion engines. One of the key points is the electric range of this model, nearly 90 kilometres, which allows efficient and sustainable driving through city streets.

The SHS system of the Jaecoo 7
The Jaecoo 7 uses the SHS system, which consists of a fifth-generation 1.5T GDI DHE engine. This engine is paired with the dedicated Super Electric Hybrid DHT second-generation transmission, which features two electric motors and a battery pack designed for plug-in hybrid vehicles.
As with other models of this type, the Jaecoo 7 SHS can operate in several driving modes: pure electric, series hybrid, parallel hybrid and energy recovery. Each of these operating modes gives the hybrid system a different way of working, from purely electric mode to the combined use of both propulsion sources, fuel and electric.

JAECOO 7 SHS
One of the two electric motors is used as the propulsion unit and delivers 150 kW of power. It is powered by an 18.3 kWh battery. This can be charged using a 40 kW charger in just 20 minutes. With a 6 kW charger, charging takes about three hours and 20 minutes.
An attractive price and moderate consumption
The Jaecoo 7 SHS has a starting price of €26,890. Depending on the trim level and equipment, this price can rise. However, the real advantage lies in fuel consumption, which allows considerable savings. Consumption ranges from 0.7 litres per 100 kilometres to 6.0 litres per 100 kilometres when running on the combustion engine in charge mode.
All things considered, the Jaecoo 7 SHS is a strong choice for achieving good savings , offering an attractive model that, in addition to a reasonable cost, consumes little and is very appealing.
The model can be obtained with a renting scheme from €550 plus VAT, which includes everything needed to operate, except fuel and energy.
