Mercedes has been trying for some time to bring its most sporty models closer to those of Porsche in terms of performance. The Mercedes AMG GTR features a 4.0 twin-turbo V8 engine producing 585 CV, and, like the Porsche Turbo S, it incorporates a series of active aerodynamic elements such as the dynamic rear spoiler and the movable front splitter.
