The Mercedes-Benz Museum in Germany is preparing two special winter events

Anyone who has been unable to attend a European motor show during the year and has planned a trip to somewhere in Europe, especially Germany, for next winter should pay attention to two special events that have been announced by the management of Mercedes-Benz Museum GmbH. They are two exhibitions that will cover much of the brand’s history, as well as the latest advances made for future developments.
The first exhibition will take place from 3 November 2009 to 31 March 2010. On this occasion, Mercedes-Benz will show how the concept of mobility has been constantly redefined over time. To do so, nine historic vehicles, together with the latest hybrid models, will be available to the public. The exhibits will include the first car patented by Benz in 1886, the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL from 1955, the E 250 CDI from 2009 and the S 400 HYBRID.
The second exhibition will run from 15 December of this year to 31 January 2010. This time the theme will be the advances made in alternative mobility systems and what the brand plans for the future in this field. To illustrate this, models from the BlueZERO line will be on hand, such as the E-CELL PLUS hybrid, the BlueZERO E-CELL electric variant and the BlueZERO F-CELL with fuel cell.
Unfortunately, the Spanish language, spoken and read by approximately 400 million people worldwide, is still not included in the events of the Mercedes-Benz Museum, so those who decide to attend will have to listen to the explanations in English or German. The museum’s opening hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday to Sunday.
