A new urban scooter is set to shake up the scooter market, as Yamaha has launched its Neo’s 50cc, designed for city riders who want dynamism and freedom of movement around town.

A scooter with no complications, very simple and practical, so that riding is easy for users, while also making parking and maintenance easier.

The model has been updated this year to give it a more fun and practical design, with its curves enhanced and a very retro style, while still keeping its characteristic twin headlights.

The Japanese machine features a 50cc two-stroke, single-cylinder engine that delivers the very quick acceleration needed for any form of transport, so the heart of the Neo’s is well suited to its urban role.

This new version of the Neo’s is easier to control for the rider thanks to the low seat height and the 12-inch wheels with tyres offering great grip on asphalt. It also stands out for its braking system, which combines a 190mm front disc with a rear drum brake, providing greater safety.

Other features, such as the lockable storage compartment under the seat and the side grab handles for a second rider, add the practical touch that any urban vehicle needs.
