The new Lexus GS will make its debut first at Pebble Beach, on 18 August

Lexus will reveal the final design of the new GS, on 18 August at the Concours d’Elegance held at Pebble Beach, California. The fourth-generation GS has been completely redesigned, yet its underlying philosophy has been thoroughly revised.

The styling details translate into a distinctive new front grille, which will be applied to all future Lexus vehicles, along with the novel LDHS (Lexus Dynamic Handling System) stability system.

Some press comments indicate that the final name of the GS will be GS250 and that it will have the smallest engine it has ever had in the model’s 20 years of life. An engine smaller than 3 litres?

All doubts will be cleared up on the 18th, when we are at Pebble Beach (virtually, of course).
