The new Nissan Leaf 2020 comes with new technologies and colours

The new Nissan Leaf, which will go on sale in 2020, will incorporate all kinds of new technologies and be available in a wide range of colours.

Coinciding with the tenth anniversary of Nissan, the manufacturer has announced updates to the new Leaf, with driver assistance systems, connectivity and colours standing out among them.

The new Leaf will reach the Japanese market next February. It promises to be one of the best-selling models of the year, especially considering that the average Japanese consumer is increasingly interested in electric mobility.

Improvements to the ProPilot system, optimising speed and the parking system, as well as an intelligent system to prevent blind spots, are some of the advances this model incorporates for the first time.

The new Nissan Leaf can also incorporate Canto, a programme designed specifically by the company that uses sounds to warn you of possible problems with obstacles on the road surface, pedestrians, etc.

Other systems, such as the innovative Door to Door navigation, or the introduction of the Google search tool on the brand for the first time, will be other interesting additions that complement the model.

The Leaf will also have a dedicated app, with multiple functions, including the ability to lock or unlock the vehicle remotely, stop charging, switch on the heating, etc.

As standard, the new Leaf will feature a 9″ screen, accompanied by a very responsive and intuitive infotainment system.

Customers will have new customisation options to stand out from the rest. Two new colours called “Vivid Blue” and “Stealth Gray” are added to the other options offered by the manufacturer.

The price of the new Nissan Leaf 2020 will be around €30,000, although thanks to various promotions, financing and other options, you may be able to get one for less money. Its launch is not far off, so all final details will be revealed soon.
