The only MC12 Corsa Maserati approved for road use goes to auction

Standing apart from the remaining 11 units, the MC12 Corsa you see in the top image is the only one approved for road use.

With its 755 CV, 12-cylinder V engine, 0 to 200 km/h in 6.4 seconds, a top speed of 330 km/h and a related matter, it will be auctioned on May 10, becoming an even more valuable one-off. I won’t argue with its justifiably outrageous price, nor deny a competition car the right to take to the streets, but… wouldn’t it really be better to go after one of the other 11 and make the necessary changes to homologate it?
