The new generation of the popular Renault Kangoo is previewed in the form of a prototype
The fact is that the Renault Kangoo Z.E. Concept car is a show vehicle with an appearance close to that of the production model. So much so that, apart from usual elements that are not yet present on the models delivered to dealerships, such as the wing mirrors, the exterior lighting running along all four sides of this van, and the elegantly designed alloy wheels… the rest makes clear what the next generation of the Renault Kangoo of 2020 will look like.
The fact is that it will go on sale next year, this new car, a model that will take over from a model that faces not only the new era of electric cars but also its second step into it.
Following the presentation and subsequent improvement of the batteries, the Renault Kangoo Z.E. is an electric vehicle designed for the transport of goods as well as people, since, thanks to its different body styles, the configuration of its rows of seats and the layout of its cabin, it is able to offer both space for its occupants and room for the materials that professionals who use it for work need.

An updated yet continuity-minded look
Be that as it may, this video shows the general appearance of the Renault Kangoo Z.E. Concept prototype which, as the models currently on sale and those recently presented show, features a grille as a signature feature where the diamond, the house badge, takes on an immense prominence.
As for the rear, for the beauty of minimalist tail lights, it would be a good decision if they could be replicated in the production version, something that is yet to be confirmed.
Unlike the current version, the Renault Kangoo Z.E. Concept in the video places the charging port for the electric plug on the front right wheel arch, or on the left one, as seen in the photographs. On the current Renault Kangoo EV, the charging socket is located behind the diamond of the front grille.
Electricity and hydrocarbons for the 2020 Renault Kangoo
As the powertrain that the 2020 Renault Kangoo will offer, beyond its version as an electric vehicle, is also yet to be confirmed, it is to be expected that Renault will use the TCe petrol and dCi diesel engines.
