It seems that the South African folks at Hi-Tech Automotive have done quite well in their market research, and they have decided to go ahead with the project to produce the Perana Z-One, that sports car with Corvette V8 engines, which they presented a couple of years ago at the Geneva show.

Zagato, undoubtedly keen to add more vehicles to its already impressive track record, supports the project, having designed this truly eye-catching sports car that is by no means improvised, since the build quality can be seen to be on a par with other vehicles in the same segment. And no wonder, as the Perana is said to cost around $100,000 in the USA, and in Europe the price will come close to six figures.

And speaking of Europe, the official presentation of the Perana will take place in England at the speed festival that is held every year. After that, Hi-Tech will build 999 examples of the Perana fitted with the 6.2-litre V8 producing 440 CV.
