The Vigo Motor Show will open its doors in one week

Following the Tecnisalón, held from April 24 to 26, the Vigo Motor Show will open its doors on the 26th -in one week’s time- for the 17th time in its history.
The event, taking place at the IFEVI in Vigo, will showcase the latest news from more than forty car and motorcycle brands until it closes on May 4. Considering that Tecnisalón will host the automotive supply industry in the days beforehand, this sector will not be present at the show itself, which will be reserved exclusively for two- and four-wheel brands.
Brands such as Citroën, Mercedes, Opel, BMW, Audi, Renault, Porsche, Ferrari, Ford, Lexus, Seat, Jeep, Mitsubishi, Volkswagen, Toyota, Suzuki, Honda and Hummer, among others, will be on display in halls 1 and 2 of the fairground during the aforementioned days.
In addition, hall 3 (adjacent to these) will host, as it did last year, the Racingshow Caixanova. A fun, sporting spectacle that will bring together dozens of drivers from various motorsport disciplines; activity will be continuous on the indoor speed circuit set up for the event, where various races, trophies and exhibitions will take place, such as the Campeones Caixanova trophy, the Trofeo Luso-Galaico and the parade of historic competition cars, among others. Особенно notable is the presence of driver Juha Kankkunen, four-time World Rally Champion, who will be joined by several other renowned Galician drivers. For more information about these trophies, you can check here.
These are not the only activities alongside the show, as there will also be a Porsche gathering on May 1 and the National Gathering of the BMW M Club Spain, the latter an annual event that this year has chosen Galicia as its meeting place.
As usual, and after the show closes, from May 8 to 11 the IFEVI will host Motorocasión, which will showcase the best used car market offers in Galicia.
For our part, we will try to be present at the event on some of the days and bring you the best information from it.
