This Chrysler 300 is fitted with 26-inch wheels!
This Japanese-sourced Chrysler 300 wears 26-inch wheels, something unheard of considering that few cars even come with 21-inch wheels.
The tuning craze in Japan is a reality; the culture is so deeply rooted in the Japanese car world that the famous Fast & Furious saga even devoted an entire film to it.

Today, however, we’ve seen something I honestly had never seen before. A tuned Chrysler 300 has been spotted with wheels of no less than 26 inches. This is unheard of and outlandish when you consider that most production cars today come with 17- or 18-inch wheels, and that on certain models, especially sports cars, they reach 19 or 21 inches.

Chrysler 300 with 26-inch wheels
A 26-inch wheel means you can’t change a tyre if it gets a puncture, for example, since you would need a custom one made, because no tyres are manufactured for wheels of such an enormous size.
These metal pieces fitted to this Chrysler 300 are called OG 26, and yes, the 26 obviously refers to the wheel size. Along with the overall tuned design of this model, whether betting on something as different as the size of these parts was a success or a failure is a matter of taste. Honestly, though, I think those wheels are far too big for that model; perhaps if they had been fitted to a large off-roader such as a Hummer, they would have looked incredible.

What is clear is that there still seems to be plenty left to see and discover in the world of tuning. First came LED lights, sound systems or nitrous oxide; now it seems it’s the turn of ridiculously sized wheels. After seeing this, tell me: would you bet on 26-inch wheels for your favourite car?
