This Mercedes Sprinter from Benchmark is the ultimate camper van

The Mercedes Sprinter is one of the vehicles chosen by many people who want to live adventures in the countryside in a converted camper van. This model has been modified by Benchmark Vehicles, a company specialized in this type of conversion, and has become a camper van with many luxuries. So much so that its price amounts to 385,000 euros.

This price does not put it within everyone’s reach, but anyone who wants to acquire one will enjoy their weekend adventures in grand style. The company has worked on a 2023 Sprinter, in which part of the original mechanics has been modified.

Among the modifications made, the shock absorbers have been replaced with their own Fox 2.0, as part of their Agile Off-Road Ride Improvement Package. The model has also been fitted with new leaf springs, high-strength Bilstein threaded shock absorbers and Owl Talon wheels fitted with all-terrain tyres.

On the exterior, new elements have also been installed, such as redesigned front and rear bumpers, as well as a Warn Zeon Platinum 12S winch. There are also X Bull mudguards, a Roambuilt roof rack, additional lights on the front fascia and on the roof, and an awning to make camping more comfortable.

It also has a snorkel to make crossing river fords easy and trouble-free. There is room for cargo areas and it has even been equipped with a mount to install a Starlink antenna, so you can enjoy internet access anywhere in the world.

Luxury equipped interior

Obviously, in the case of a camper vehicle, this is the most interesting space of all. It is where the occupants will spend most of their time, so it is something that must be looked after with great care. There is a rest area where a large bed can be installed, while the driver’s and passenger’s seats are upholstered in leather and fabric.

The insulation has also been well taken care of, with the windows and interior walls protected against the elements. For day-to-day living, this camper vehicle has been equipped with an induction hob and a large sink with an integrated filtration system. The water it uses comes from a heated 132-litre tank.

All these systems are powered by electricity thanks to a 640 Ah battery pack.

Although this camper van model has a fairly high cost, there are other Sprinter camper conversion packages from Benchmark Vehicles that are considerably more affordable, with more or less the same elements, also of good quality, but with a price that does not exceed 135,000 euros.
