Ventus S1 Evo 3: Hankook's new high-performance tyre

The Ventus S1 Evo 3 is presented as a premium high-performance Hankook tyre for both passenger cars and SUVs, which will launch in early 2019.

Hankook will launch in early 2019 a high-performance tyre for both passenger cars and SUVs, called Ventus S1 Evo 3. It will be legal on all European roads.

The engineers have placed special emphasis on developing safety, as well as on the product specifications. Improvements in wet grip, or precision in handling and control, are some of the features that will characterise the S1 Evo 3.

The reduction in rolling resistance has received special attention from the developers.

This new tyre becomes the successor to Hankook’s successful high-performance tyre history. Besides offering a high level of safety, they will be suitable in both wet and dry conditions.

Environmental protection and resource conservation are another of the company’s goals for its new product. Its predecessor, the Ventus S1 Evo2, became the most successful tyre in the company’s history. In fact, it was fitted as standard on many models from prestigious brands such as BMW, Audi Mercedes or Porsche.

Hankook has successfully continued to optimise these driving characteristics in the Ventus S1 Evo 3, thanks to a series of features that also address its environmental properties, such as rolling resistance and durability.

Following continuous research, the Ventus S1 Evo 3 uses a new generation of innovative materials. Thanks to these, the tyres will not only be able to increase grip, but also, during a range of high temperatures, will not lose grip and will remain in optimal condition.

The new Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 3 will for the time being be available only in the European market, in 72 sizes ranging from 17 to 22 inches, all from early 2019.
