Video of the Radical SR8LM and its absolute record at the Nürburgring

It has been a while since we last visited the Nürburgring, so for this Christmas we bring you the full lap of the latest lap record to the Green Hell, set by the Radical SR8LM in 6:48 minutes.

The video is the work of a company specialising in onboard filming of test cars and race cars: ChaseCam, who have decided to share it.

The truth is that this lap is perfect. At the Nürburgring you don’t need a car that is so fast in top speed, but one that sticks to the road like it’s on rails through the bends and curves of the ring. Michael Vergers is the driver behind the 460 hp Radical. To top it off, Radical holds the first two places in lap records on the old Nürburgring: the first from 2005 and this latest one from August 2009.
