Wimmer RS presents a 580 hp Mercedes C63 AMG

Wimmer RS, a German tuner specialised in getting the most out of your car’s engine, whose latest creation for the Volkswagen Golf R has just unveiled its newest project: no less than a Mercedes C63 AMG with 580 hp
In this way the 6.2-litre V8 of your Mercedes C63 AMG will raise its output to 580 hp, thanks among other things to a new engine control unit, replacement air filters, a new, far less restrictive catalytic converter and a complete sports exhaust system made of stainless steel.

In addition to an extra 123 hp, torque has also increased by 90 Nm, reaching around 690 Nm. On the other hand, it is worth highlighting that the engine remains naturally aspirated, so, I don’t want to give ideas, but I can’t imagine the potential of fitting a turbo system properly.
With such a power boost it is no surprise that this very special C63 AMG, according to the tuner, can now reach a top speed of 310 km/h, provided, of course, that the electronic limiter, which stops you going faster than 250 km/h, has been removed.

To complete the preparation, Wimmer offers its customers a new KW suspension as well as very attractive 19-inch wheels fitted with new Dunlop Sport Maxx GT tyres.
Finally, it is worth noting that, according to Wimmer, its work, excluding wheels and suspension, has a price of 9,900 euros including fitting.
