A Japanese driver films on video the moment the tsunami (quite literally) lands on top of him

The arrival of the tsunami on a coastal road in Japan, and the coincidence that the driver was filming his journey on video, came together to show us what it is like when thousands of tons of water fall on top of a car, leaving no time for anything else but becoming a mere passenger of the forces of nature.
The driver recounted that the only thing he managed to do, when he saw the approaching wall of water, was keep driving and then stay inside the car, precisely what one should do in these cases, according to experts. I wonder what most of us would have done in a similar situation: would you have gotten out of the car or stayed inside? While you think about it, you have the video after the jump.
