A Lamborghini Aventador and a Lexus IS-F destroyed in road tests

Both the Lamborghini Aventador and the Lexus IS-F had the (un)lucky fate of falling into the hands of journalists from motoring media, who each had an accident, leaving the Lambo pretty much wrecked and the Lexus badly damaged.
In the case of the Aventador, Thomas Glavinic from the Austrian magazine Autoreview had the bad luck that the car got away from him while trying to overtake a lorry on a country road. He first struck the same lorry, then dropped into a small ditch after taking out a metal road-sign post. The incident was even featured on the cover of Autoreview.
For the next case, we head to the USA, where another reporter-tester was taking part in an event specially organised by Lexus for the press. One of the Lexus IS-F crashed on its first lap of the Mondello Park circuit, although apparently the track was wet, to the long-suffering tester’s relief.
Two cases only a few days apart that have befallen these “specialists” this time. Fortunately nobody was hurt, although comments have already started appearing online about their driving abilities and the need for specialised driving courses for this kind of profession.
