A Mercedes from the cradle: the brand launches three baby strollers

The most important brands always end up surprising us. And Mercedes has just done so by launching no fewer than three models we did not expect. These are three vehicles named AVANTGARDE, PERFOMANCE and AMG-GT. And although they are designed so that occupants travel very comfortably and very safely. But these are not three cars, rather three baby strollers. They have been designed together with the company Hartan.

The first two models feature upholstered interiors made with certified organic cotton, and the seats are designed to offer the child maximum comfort during journeys. The chassis is made of aluminium, so the stroller has a very low weight and is easy to handle.

AVANTGARDE stroller

This stroller is available in five colours: “Magmagrey“, a lighter “Steel” grey, a creamy “Opalith“, a classic brown “Tartufo” and “Denimblue“. This model includes a chassis matching the Mercedes-Benz pattern, a harness with magnetic closure and a double, foldable sun visor.

PERFOMANCE stroller

This is a new design created by Hartan, which has several innovations intended to improve the use of this baby stroller. The handle can be removed to the side to attend to the baby. The seat can be swivelled and reclined to offer greater comfort. The stroller bag has several compartments to store the smartphone and other essential items for daily use. In addition, it is upholstered in vegan leather.

AMG-GT stroller

Of the three models, this is the sportiest of all. The alpine grey colour has been used, a tribute to the racing cars Silver Arrow. As it is inspired by a competition car, the baby is secured with a five-point harness and AMG cross-spoke wheels, a high-quality AMG cover. It is also available in black with red stitching on the handle, ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy a more contemporary design of Mercedes.

Hartan’s suspension system makes use simpler, and its lockable wheels make it easier to handle. It is the smallest and most compact of the three strollers based on Mercedes, and its dimensions (69 x 58.5 x 31 cm) allow it to be carried in the smallest sports vehicles.

All three models include a Bag2Go bag to comfortably carry the smartphone, bottles and everything the little one needs to stay comfortable and clean. There is also an optional bag matching the chosen model, for a nappy changing kit and everything else needed. A windshield and a footmuff are also available.

The PERFOMANCE model will arrive during 2022, but Mercedes enthusiasts can already enjoy the AVANTGARDE and AMG-GT models. This way, the little ones will be able to enjoy what it means to ride aboard a Mercedes-Benz even before they know what it is. And they will appreciate the difference.
