A new mobile phone for remotely locking your Nissan

I honestly don’t know whether this gadget could be functional, because if it gets lost or stolen it could cause you more problems than you would like.
It is a mobile phone developed by Nissan, Sharp and NTT DoCoMo which adds to its list of functions a remote locking control for all models that have the Intelligent Key system from the Japanese brand installed, such as the G37.
For the time being, the device allows starting and stopping the engine as well as locking/unlocking the car.
The phone will be officially presented at the start of next month at CEATEC Japan 2008 and will go on sale next year, although it probably won’t be seen outside the borders of the Land of the Rising Sun.
