Electric Cars Concepts Curiosities Industry
A Zaragoza-based company presents the Gorila EV electric prototype

Reviewing the vehicle catalogue compiled under the MOVELE Project, we can see that many brands are still to arrive by 2010, and most of them have not yet assigned a price to their products or the subsidy these electric vehicles will receive. And within the catalogue of vehicles planned for 2010 we also find curiosities such as the one presented by the Spanish company Zytel, based in Zaragoza.
Zytel has presented the Gorila EV concept, a fully modular car, capable of successively transforming into a three-door saloon, a convertible, a two-seat spider, and even a pick-up. For now they are working on its development and it is a concept, but it looks very promising as a production vehicle. It has a distinctive look, similar to a buggy, and inside we find quality materials and shapes without giving up technology.

The key to this transformable character lies in its versatile roof, which consists of two longitudinal arches and a roof with several opening configurations. As for range, according to the company itself it could reach around 100 km. In addition, the Gorila EV is limited to 80 km/h.
The Zaragoza-based company also specialises in electrifying existing models; in fact it has the Zytel 4, which is a Suzuki Samurai converted into an electric vehicle. As soon as we have more news about the Gorila EV we will keep you informed, because it is very interesting that a Spanish company is launching its own electric vehicle.
