At the next Frankfurt Motor Show, which opens next week, a new special edition of the Fiat Abarth 500 will be unveiled, named “695 Homenaje Ferrari”. Yet Fiat has already accustomed us to modifications of its Abarth 500, such as the “From 0 to 100” version.

This new version introduces certain changes, such as a 1.4 T-Jet turbocharged engine producing 180 CV, and also features a six-speed sequential gearbox with paddle shifters behind the steering wheel, which gives it an even more sporty character.

Inside, the highlights are the carbon fibre seats upholstered in leather, and the newly designed steering wheel. Other changes affect the suspension, which has been recalibrated, and new Brembo brakes are fitted together with 17-inch alloy wheels inspired by the style of Ferrari.

However, one of the most important features of this “695 Homenaje Ferrari” version is the use of the traditional Rosso Scuderia colour, the most representative and best-known colour of the Maranello brand. Even so, we will have to wait for the Frankfurt Show to learn more, as it is not yet known whether it will actually go into production, nor its price or the number of units to be built.
