Aehra Electric, an SUV with a cinema room inside

The company Aehra has unveiled its first model, an electric SUV that promises to surprise when it reaches the market in 2025. It is a vehicle with a rather spectacular look, featuring a forward-set cabin that gives it a very dynamic appearance. The coupé-style roofline helps create that image, which is reinforced by wheels that promise to be 21 inches and by the design of the doors.

The front doors feature a scissor-opening design, while the rear doors are gull-wing style. We had already seen images of the exterior, but we were missing those of the cabin. A space in which, according to the company, four NBA players could fit. Mind you, of medium size, they assure us.

A spacious and practical interior

The cabin has been conceived as if it were a large lounge and leisure space. The wheelbase is 3.0 metres, so there is plenty of room for comfortable travel. In addition, with no combustion engine, gearbox or driveshaft, more space is gained. The rear seats are also foldable and promise the same comfort as seats on a commercial flight.

And when it comes to entertainment, Aehra’s engineers have thought of the occupants. A large retractable screen occupies the entire front section, allowing all occupants to enjoy audiovisual content with as much comfort as possible. That said, this large screen can only be used when the car is stationary, so it does not work while driving.

The windscreen, where the large screen unfolds, is set quite far from the steering wheel, so that it offers more distance for the viewers and a better view. This creates the impression of a forward-set cabin and gives the vehicle that special touch.

When the car is running, the screen retracts and displays all the information needed for the driver to control the vehicle safely. We will soon have more details about the model, which is expected to be sold in North America, Europe, China and the Gulf States.
