Afraid of being shot at? Try driving this armoured Bentley Bentayga

The specialist armouring customiser Inkas Armored has worked on the armouring of the Bentley Bentayga and turned it into what you can see in the photos

Some cars look solid, strong and unstoppable. That’s because they have an eye-catching and very alluring image. The Bentley Bentayga is one of those models that seems to want nothing and no one to get in its way, and now that this version of the model has arrived, it seems to have finally become the definitive car. And it is Inkas Armored that has created this impressive armoured Bentley Bentayga.

At the presentation, the customiser specialising in adding armour and safety equipment to cars that are already remarkable did not say much about the materials used or the details of the armour fitted. Even so, we know the added armour offers 360º protection, from the floor to the roof.

The tuner has assured us that the armour meets the CEN 1063 BR6 ballistic standard, and this includes the window glass, which resists shots from an AK-47 and an AR-10, so it is enough to be completely safe. In addition, the floor can withstand the detonation of two grenades exploding simultaneously. A suitable way to venture into a war zone, certainly.

But armour is not the only thing this model has, so we can also find other elements that increase safety. A block of emergency lights has been added to the front grille, along with a siren and a public address system that allows communication with the outside of the vehicle when necessary.

Optionally, the customer can opt for systems such as exhaust protection, a smoke screen system, electronic door handles and a fire extinguishing system in the engine compartment, to avoid problems with the powertrain in an emergency.

What they have not touched is the powerful engine fitted to the SUV model from the British luxury brand. The 6.0-litre W12 engine offers enough power to move this armoured bulk, which opens up a new world in security and armouring. Inside, by the way, the occupants can be just as comfortable, since all the luxury of the basic model is also retained.

We cannot give you the price of the armoured Bentley Bentayga from Inkas Armored, but we can give you a hint: it is not cheap.
