Alfa Romeo 159 for the Guardia Civil

For a few months now I have been keeping an eye on the Guardia Civil’s latest acquisitions of vehicles, since the most recent model to join the extensive fleet of Guardia Civil vehicles is the Alfa Romeo 159. A vehicle that I’m sure some of you have already spotted on the roads of your provinces.

The Alfa Romeo 159 used by the Guardia Civil is the 2.4 JTDm Q4 (all-wheel drive) with 210 CV of power. Without a doubt a good vehicle for keeping roads safe. They also have several camouflaged units, including the Sportwagon.


And the truth is that the Guardia Civil’s vehicle fleet includes quite a varied range of models: Citroën C4, Citroën C5 (first generation), Fiat Croma, Peugeot 307 (first generation), all within the marked vehicles. As for the unmarked ones, apart from the famous Mercedes Clase C, they also use other vehicles such as the Opel Astra, Nissan Almera or Peugeot 307, among others.
