Ariel Atom V8 on video

As you may remember, a few weeks ago we were talking about a very special edition of the Ariel Atom fitted with a V8 engine, a model that would offer performance and, above all, driving sensations never seen before in a model whose price is well below one million euros.
As we saw a few weeks ago, this is essentially a tubular chassis combined with an insane amount of carbon fibre, with a final weight of 500 kg, a genuinely low figure to be propelled by a 3.0-litre V8 that, depending on the version, can produce 450 or 500 horsepower, a output that translates into no less than almost 1,000 CV per tonne.
Well, the time has finally come to see it in motion thanks to the guys at Autocar, a magazine that has exclusively managed to test this formidable model, which, in the words of the tester, is the fastest and most radical car he has ever driven.
The catch, perhaps, lies in the fact that this missile will only be produced as a limited edition of 25 units at a price of £150,000, which at current exchange rates will be roughly 180,000 euros.
