Aston Martin DBX707 AMR23: a new special edition inspired by the F1 single-seater

The British brand has just unveiled a special edition of its sporty SUV to celebrate its successes during the 2023 season of the FIA Formula One World Championship

The Aston Martin DBX707 is one of the most powerful and capable ultra-luxury SUVs on the market today, making it an ideal choice to commemorate the Gaydon-based marque’s achievements in Formula 1. Its design is among the most striking, drawing inspiration from both the Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll AMR23 F1 car and the Official Formula 1 Medical Car.

Since the season began on March 5, the Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One® Team has been on a podium run, finishing in the top three in four of the five Grands Prix held so far. This has taken it to second place in the Constructors’ Championship, behind Red Bull and ahead of Mercedes AMG and Ferrari, and has also led to the launch of this highly appealing special edition.

Radicalism through subtle details

Starting with the design updates on the new Aston Martin DBX707 AMR 23, the first thing to catch our attention is the combination of bespoke Podium Green paint with several lime-coloured details on the splitter, sill protectors and rear diffuser.

This special edition was created by the brand’s bespoke personalisation department, Q by Aston Martin, which has left its signature on the wings and on the large brake calipers in Aston Martin Racing Green located behind the enormous 23-inch black wheels.

Inside, the DBX707 AMR23 debuts striking lime-coloured stitching in contrast with the two-tone Onyx Black/Eifel Green configuration. Furthermore, as is only fitting in a true sporty SUV, the Aston Martin features numerous carbon-fibre trims and dark satin surfaces.

The fastest SUV in the world

As for its mechanical specification, the DBX707 AMR23 is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 producing 707 CV and 900 Nm of torque, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 310 km/h.

With its price and production still to be confirmed, Aston Martin has announced that its order book is now open.
