Aston Martin Lagonda: an extensive photo gallery of the luxury saloon

About a month ago, we had the chance to see some first images of the Aston Martin Lagonda, a luxury saloon that will only be sold in the Middle East. The rest of the countries will have to wait, at least for now, to see this spectacular car on their roads, and surely more than one person will be eager to add a unit of this model to their garage.
In those first images, we saw a pre-production unit being flown to Oman so that the brand’s engineers could carry out a series of tests and adjustments in situ to fine-tune it, transferring those measurements to the factory so that every car leaves ready to be driven by the fortunate owners who manage to get one.
Now you can see a photo gallery that goes through part of those road tests across the arid roads of the Middle East, with the engineers carrying out those tests and measurements. It is quite important to check how this spectacular car will behave in the arid, desert climate of the region.
Unlike the other photos, in these we can see it in motion, driving through those distant landscapes. It can be appreciated that it measures around 5.4 metres and uses carbon fibre as its main material of construction. The wheelbase is put at 3,189 mm, which would bring it closer to another great luxury car, the Rolls Royce Phantom.

For its construction it will use the VH platform that the Rapide also uses, and presumably it will also share with it the 6.0-litre V12 engine, although the company has not yet made public which unit has been chosen for this car.
More speculation. An output above 550 CV and an eight-speed gearbox are expected. The presence of this engine and that power would allow this model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just four seconds. We will see when these figures are confirmed and, of course, we will bring them to you.
