Aston Martin Vanquish Volante: Hair in the Wind

Vanquish Volante 7

Aston Martin has always been known for selling cars that ordinary mortals like us can only dream of. Even more so when we’re talking about the flagship of the range in convertible form.

The most expensive and exclusive version of the Aston Martin range (with the permission of the ultra-exclusive One-77) arrives to become the British roadster par excellence. We’re talking about the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante.

With a body made from a mix of aluminium and carbon fibre, the Vanquish Volante will weigh 1,844 kg, which means it is only 9 kg heavier than the coupé version, a testament to the great work carried out by the brand. Thanks to the materials used in the construction of the vehicle, the Vanquish Volante will boast structural rigidity unprecedented for the brand, allowing it to make the most of the full potential of the powertrain.

Speaking of engines, the Vanquish Volante will, like its closed counterpart, feature the well-known 6.0-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine producing 570 CV, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds, reaching a top speed of 294 km/h. The engine will be paired with a six-speed automatic gearbox Touchtronic 2 with sequential paddle shifters mounted on the steering column.

The Vanquish Volante also borrows the interior and equipment of the closed version, with the difference that in 14 seconds, the sky becomes the only limit if we look up. With a price of around 300,000 euros, first deliveries will begin at the end of this same year.
