Aston Martin Geneva Motor Show Supercars
Aston Martin Virage

Without a doubt, the Geneva Motor Show is gaining ground at the moment. Until now there were plenty of models that had us impatient to see them presented to the general public, but now we have the official confirmation of the debut of the Aston Martin Virage, a model that Aston Martin will position as an intermediate step between the DB9 and the astonishing DBS.
Among the information publicly provided by the executives of the brand based in Gaydon, we find something as special as the fact that this model has been developed on the VH aluminium platform used by intermediate models, or designed in its styling by figures as emblematic today as Ian Callum and Henry Fisker.

Mechanically, Aston Martin has opted to equip this new model with an enormous 6.0-litre V12 capable of delivering 497 CV and 570 Nm of peak torque in this version, enough to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds. It is worth remembering that with this same engine the DB9 does the same in 4.8 seconds and the DBS in 4.3.
For now there is no further information about this very special model, so we will have to wait until the Geneva Motor Show 2011 opens its doors, as you well know on 1 March. Behind those doors will be hidden some very special projects that will undoubtedly gain far more coverage through live photos than through the official ones offered by the brands.
