Audi TT XXL-size at the Allianz Arena in Munich

Audi TT tamaño XXL en el Allianz Arena de Munich

The sculpture has already been to Berlin, Beijing and Hong Kong. Now it makes a stop in Munich, specifically at the Allianz Arena stadium. The replica of the Audi TT XXL-size weighs ten tonnes and is roughly ten metres long. The scale used is 2.5:1. The stop at the Bayern Munich stadium is the result of the sponsorship of Audi to the German team.

Today at nine in the morning a crane will lift it and place it in the car park right in front of the stadium, where it will remain for the next five weeks, or in other words, until mid-March.

The model measures 10.20 metres long, 3.25 metres high and 4.50 metres wide, and is made of a plastic material called Neopor. On nights when there are matches, it will be illuminated by a series of floodlights.

For those who do not have the opportunity to see the sculpture in situ, Audi offers the possibility of watching it through its website on 12 February at 16:00 in a documentary called Behind the Scenes.
