The classic Silverarrow (silver arrow) returns to the competition circuit after almost a century, since, let us recall, as a consequence of the Second World War many of the Auto Union models disappeared without a trace, including their technical data.

The latest version of the Type D has been built over a period of four years based only on a few photos taken during its competitive debut at the 1939 Belgian Grand Prix.

According to the project managers, they are pleased to present an absolutely authentic reconstruction very similar to the original Silverarrow.

The car mimics the mechanics of the classic and will therefore use a 12-cylinder engine capable of delivering 485 CV, which promises strong performance.

The sports car will take part in the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which will be held between the 11th and 13th, and will then be displayed at the Museo Móvil de Audi.
