We are already in the countdown to the 2015 Barcelona Motor Show, which kicks off on May 9th and runs until the 17th. And although several manufacturers have already presented the novelties they will bring to the Barcelona fairground during these intense show days, now it is the turn of Hyundai, which is not lagging behind in terms of interesting vehicles.

The Korean manufacturer’s offering will have as its main star the new Hyundai Tucson, which arrives on the national market with the aim of carving out a niche in the competitive SUV segment, in which it has already had a presence with previous versions. We will also see at the brand’s stand the ix20 B-MPV, the New Generation i20 Coupé and the new i30 turbo and i40, as well as the new H350, a light commercial vehicle designed with the European market in mind.

The Tucson will offer the new look, which starts from the front grille, integrated with the new LED-technology headlights and presenting a renewed image, enhanced by the profile that emphasises the adventurous spirit of the vehicle. The new Tucson is built on a new platform that prioritises interior space for both passengers and the boot, which reaches a capacity of 513 litres.

It is available with a new 1.6-litre turbocharged T-GDI engine delivering 176 CV with a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, plus a 1.6-litre petrol engine producing 135 CV and three diesel engines, the first of 1.7 litres and 115 CV; one of 2.0 litres and 132 CV; and finally, a version of this latter with 186 CV.

We will also see the Hyundai ix20, which revises the original design with a modernisation of it. This renewal has as its main feature new light units and the new grille that links it to the rest of the brand’s new models. The available engines are petrol and diesel, with a power output ranging from 77 to 128 CV.

The other novelty on the national market from the Hyundai i40, which, like others, incorporates the new grille and features improved new engines, as well as new equipment focused on safety. Finally, the H350 commercial van has been designed with the needs of European users in mind, prioritising functionality.
