BAT80, a movie-worthy car to celebrate Batman's 80th anniversary
The designers at Camal Studio have created a Batmobile for Batman’s 80th anniversary, which for now we will only see in images and which will not make it to the cinema

This year Batman turns no less than 80 years old, since he first appeared in Detective Comics #1 in 1939. Several events have been held this year to celebrate this anniversary, but something important was still missing. And the Italian Camal Studio has wanted to give him a new Batmobile model.
Unfortunately, we won’t see it in any film or comic, since it is only a concept model that will never see the light of day in physical form, but it has enough presence and visual strength for both the editors of the Dark Knight comic and the Warner producers to think twice and give it a chance to drive it.

BAT80, the new concept Batmobile
This Batmobile is a design work into which a great deal of imagination has gone, because Batman has many toys with which to hunt down the bad guys. Following the styling of the various Batmobiles seen in the films of the 90s, this model moves away from the tank we saw in Christopher Nolan‘s films.
The bonnet recalls that legendary Batmobile designed by Anton Furst, and from that model it takes elements such as the long bonnet and the wings covering impressive wheels designed for moving around the city. The designers have added metal claws to these that increase grip on wet surfaces or over obstacles.

The cabin opens like that of an aircraft, moving forward and positioning itself over the bonnet. On it there are air intakes that feed the traction system, a futuristic turbine that propels the car at breathtaking speeds and turns the hero’s car into a machine that is hard to escape from.
Of course, the designs are full of gadgets to equip the Dark Knight with a complete arsenal of devices to fight crime in Gotham City. A car we would like to see soon in the next Batman film or at least in one of the comics. For now, enjoy the concept images of this imaginary vehicle that pays tribute to one of the most famous fictional characters in the world.
