Be dazzled by the Nissan GT-R unveiled by Kuhl Racing at the Tokyo Auto Show

If you thought the Nissan GT-R was a remarkable and simply spectacular car, you won’t believe what Kuhl Racing has done with a unit of this sports car. It was seen at the Tokyo Auto Salon, an event that lets you discover what companies that customise cars are capable of. A vehicle that has drawn attention, and not precisely because it is one of the most pleasing to the eye. In fact, looking at it is rather heavy and excessively overloaded.
To achieve this effect, the company’s technicians have sprayed the body, painted in chrome, with gold powder, creating a shiny finish that makes an immediate impact. But they did not limit themselves to gilding the car: they also introduced engraving work on the bodywork, which gives it an elegant and excessively luxurious touch. The thing is, as they say, in the details.
At the front, a more massive front end has been created, larger and more spectacular, seeking to attract attention with bigger air intakes matching the front bumper. The wheels have been fitted with larger tyres, leaving very little ground clearance, which already confirms its membership of a group of cars that could not be driven on public roads. At the rear there is a spoiler, also customised, which gives it a spectacular look.

Under the bonnet you can experience 820 CV, although the 3.8-litre V6 engine is the same one fitted to the model it is based on. That said, two new turbochargers and a new exhaust system using titanium silencers have been added. It is not what you would call a practical car, and I suppose it was created to showcase the worth of the technicians at Kuhl Racing, since it is not easy at all to translate this design into a real car. Still, if you like it, you can buy it, although the final price has not been revealed. Surely not cheap.
