Bentley celebrates its 20 years in China with a collection of limited units of all its models, destined exclusively for the Asian country

Bentley Mulliner China

Bentley and its Mulliner craftsmen continue with their series of limited editions for specific markets. A few days ago we were presenting the Bentayga Equestrian Collection for the Belgian market, and now it is China’s turn, where the English brand is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its entry into the Asian country, and this is something they want to celebrate in style with their most exclusive customers.

To do so, Bentley Mulliner will offer the Chinese market a themed collection mirroring different icons of London: four distinct collections, with 20 units earmarked for each one, leaving a total of 80 limited units for this enormous country, so you can imagine how exclusive they are. Each collection will feature a Bentley model as its protagonist, so we will find the Bentayga, the Continental GT and its convertible version, the GTC, as well as the Flying Spur.

The Guard

Bentley Continental Gt The Guard (1)

As you may gather from the name given to this collection, it pays homage to the famous Royal Guard of the Queen of England, with the Continental GT as its protagonist. It features the St James Red paint for its bodywork in combination with the Beluga black roof, recalling the tunic and bearskin hat worn by the British Royal Guard.

This colour combination is complemented by 21-inch ten-spoke wheels painted in black with a bright machined finish, and the car also comes with the Styling Specification package, which adds a front splitter, new side skirts, a rear diffuser and a spoiler on the boot lid, all made of carbon fibre in a Beluga finish with a detail line in Moonbeam finish. The final touch is provided by the dedicated logos that tell you which limited edition you are looking at.

Changes are also made inside the Continental GT The Guard, with a cabin that uses the shades Linen, Beluga and Hotspur, combined with Piano Hotspur over Piano Black finishes for the interior inserts, as well as contrasting stitching and embroidery of a Royal Guard silhouette on the headrests. In addition, the dashboard buttons have been painted gold, referencing the buttons on the guards’ tunics, along with the speakers of the Bang & Olufsen sound system, which combine black and gold.

Carnaby

Bentley Continental Gtc The Carnaby (1)

Carnaby Street is a pedestrian street in London’s Soho district, famous for its fashion shops and festive atmosphere, which inspired a collection built around the Continental GTC. These 20 units of the Bentley Continental GTC will be available in the colours Radium, Jetstream II, Orange Flame and Onyx, combined with a line in Arctica colour, the same colour used on the 22-inch wheels.

Inside the Continental GTC, Beluga-finish leather is used for the upholstery, combined with bespoke Radium leather details and contrasting stitching in Radium and Silver finishes. The centre console and air vent surrounds in brushed aluminium with a dark tint feature a diamond pattern, like the logo of this limited edition.

The Pall Mall

Bentley Flying Spur Pallmall (1)

In 2002 Bentley sold its first vehicle in China, the same year the English brand delivered a new limousine to the Queen of England to mark her Golden Jubilee. That limousine remains part of the Queen’s fleet and is still used occasionally. For this reason, Bentley wanted to pay tribute to this limousine with the Flying Spur Pall Mall.

The exterior of the Bentley Flying Spur Pall Mall comes in two shades: Beluga black over Claret, which pair perfectly with the 22-inch ten-spoke wheels in Burgundy with a bright machined face. All the exterior inserts are in bright chrome, and the badge of this limited edition is placed on the C-pillar.

The interior of the Flying Spur Pall Mall has been designed to create a sense of separation between the front and rear seats, using Imperial Blue for the front seat upholstery and dashboard and Baroda Blue for the rear, the latter being the colour used in the Queen’s limousine. The dashboard inserts, door panels and front and rear centre consoles feature open-pore walnut veneer over high-gloss walnut root, finished with crown logo touches in various places throughout the interior.

The Savile Row

Bentley Bentayga Savile Row (1)

Savile Row, the historic street in London’s Mayfair renowned for housing numerous bespoke tailors for men, served as the inspiration for the Bentley Bentayga Savile Row, paying tribute to the craftsmen of that street.

On the exterior of the Bentayga Savile Row you will find 22-inch ten-spoke wheels painted in Cumbrian Green and finished in a bright metallic coat. But the best is inside, where the upholstery uses leather painted in Portland and Cumbrian Green as contrast, the stitching follows the same scheme, and an embroidered badge on the backrest marks this collection. Finally, it features inserts in bespoke High Gloss Burr elm wood, the first time Bentley has fitted this on a modern model.
