Bentley Mulliner Batur: the latest creation from the British firm, which will be unveiled very soon

Next Sunday, 21 August, the successor to the Bentley Bacalar will debut at the 2022 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance

Bentley Mulliner Batur Teaser

The popular coachbuilder of the luxury British firm Bentley has published the first teaser of its latest creation, an exclusive GT that will be presented at the next edition of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance as the successor to the Mulliner Bacalar, the two-seater limited to just 12 units and with no less than 659 CV under its bonnet.

The name of our protagonist today is Bentley Mulliner Batur, and thanks to a couple of images accompanying the announcement, we can see the new grille this model will feature, with the Bentley badge crowning its uppermost part and a truly sophisticated, sporty design that recalls that of the Bacalar, though with a sportier touch.

Batur, a lake in Indonesia

With production of the aforementioned Bacalar now complete, the Mulliner team is almost ready to show us its latest jewel, which, like its elder sibling, takes its name from a lake, this time located in Kintamani, Bali.

As for its mechanical specifications, the brand has so far decided not to reveal any details, although given what they have accustomed us to, the most logical assumption is that it will fit the brand’s iconic W12, which rumours suggest may be supported by a small electric motor.

Limited and priced

As is only to be expected from a vehicle created by the Mulliner team, production of this model will be limited to just 25 units, at a price that only a fortunate few will be able to afford, as it will hover around 2 million pounds, or roughly 2.3 million euros at current exchange rates.

The design of this new model will be of great importance, since, as Bentley has indicated, it will be the conceptual preview that sets the design direction for its future products, which is particularly significant given that the British firm is currently developing its next electric vehicle.
