Black Edition: a luxury trim for the CUPRA Formentor, León and León Sportstourer

A good model always looks better when it comes with a trim designed to highlight its best qualities. That is what the Black Edition trim reflects, which has been added to the range of the CUPRA Formentor, León and León Sportstourer. Decorative elements have been added that enhance the image of these three models and strengthen their presence in the market.

One of the features that stands out most in this trim level is the new 19-inch alloy wheels. They are finished in matt black and help make the visual impact far greater. In addition, there is a wide range of body colours, so the combinations make these versions very attractive and powerful.

In the case of the two models, León and León Sportstourer, their character and sportiness are emphasised with additional black elements. Among these added elements, the exterior side sill trims and the rear spoiler stand out. Both give the overall look a more dynamic finish and come across as bold and more contemporary.

The 19-inch Mistral Design sports alloy wheels bring that sporty yet elegant look at the same time. The Black Edition trim is available with almost all engine options of the CUPRA León and León Sportstourer, so it can be added without any problem whichever version is chosen. The only version not approved for this trim is the 2.0 TDI 150 CV DSG diesel version.

It can also be added to all body colours, which makes it a very sensible option for any car in this range. For these models, it is available at an extra cost of 1,520 euros, and 1,010 euros in the case of the VZ version.

More equipment for CUPRA

These three CUPRA models also get a new body colour, the Dark Void metallic tone, which was previously available only on the CUPRA Terramar. They also inherit the Matrix LED Ultra headlights from the Terramar. These headlights offer high-definition technology and project dynamic information onto the road. This function includes the CUPRA signature, which was already present on the Terramar.

Another feature being added is the new front traffic assist for intersections, which is included in the Safe&NCAP Pack. Other styling elements added to the CUPRA León and León Sportstourer in Obsidian Black include the front bumper, the exhaust surrounds inserted into the rear diffuser and the exterior mirror housings. The exterior side sill trims and the rear spoiler are also available as an option. These replace the elements of the Black Edition trim.
