BMW Serie 3 Style Edge xDrive, a limited model for Japan

Premium car models built for specific markets are commonplace. Countries such as China or Japan are among the fortunate nations that receive some of these versions, which usually have special features not found on the standard models. The BMW Serie 3 Style Edge xDrive is one of these models, aimed at the Japanese market and limited to just two hundred units.
The special edition intended for Japanese buyers has a very attractive look, thanks to an aerodynamic package designed to stand out. That dynamism, which lets it stand out from the rest of the range, is reinforced by the all-wheel drive it comes equipped with. For reference, the also limited “40 Years Edition“, which was built for the Italian market, was used.
This exclusive model is based on the BMW Serie 3 that was also sold exclusively in Italy
It starts from the BMW Serie 3 Black Sapphire, with the addition of four-wheel drive and engine adjustments specific to meet what is demanded by dealers in this Asian country. The overall look is elegant, although it is aimed at customers looking for a sportier car with the right power to feel the thrill of driving.

Besides the striking exterior colour, the interior features materials that give it a more elegant feel, with black Sensatec upholstery, stainless steel pedals found across the M range, and wood accents on the interior decorative elements. This gives the cabin a more luxurious appearance and offers the driver a sense of exclusivity.
On the outside, M Sport elements have been added. Among them are the 18-inch M alloy wheels, as well as the oval grille, which gives the front its defining style. As for the engine, being a special and limited edition, a 2.0-litre petrol unit was chosen, delivering 181 CV and a maximum torque of 270 Nm. Although it won’t be coming to Spain, it’s worth noting its price of 6,110,000 yen, roughly 46,500 euros.
