BMW X5 M: official images

Shortly after the first leaked images of the BMW X6 M came to light, the official images of the BMW X5 M have now also been made public, along with some details of one of the most radical models among BMW’s SUVs.

The engine is the same one used in the BMW X6 M, a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 that delivers around 550 CV of power, with an impressive 680 Nm of torque available between 1,500 and 5,650 rpm. With this engine it goes from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds (just like its sibling, the BMW X6 M).

The exterior styling changes of the BMW X5 M are very similar to those of the X6 M, featuring a front bumper with two large air intakes, and a more pronounced design than the standard X5. At the rear, the four exhaust pipes stand out. The new BMW X5 M will also feature the Efficient Dynamics system, which will help reduce consumption and emissions. Although in this case consumption and emission figures won’t be very low given the power and design of the car.
