Bologna Motor Show: Tazzari Zero

The Italian group Tazzari will present at the Bologna Motor Show the Tazzari Zero, an electric vehicle that seems to be different from anything known in the field. This electric car is not only for geeks or for those aware of ecology and the pollution caused by fossil fuels, saving money on petrol along the way, but it also offers something more: a more “fun” image, which makes it look more like an electric go-kart.
With a mid-mounted motor, rear-wheel drive, a very low centre of gravity, a rather wide body, 4 disc brakes and an acceleration that make it ideal for quick manoeuvres in the city, in addition to its price which we will mention later, the Tazzari Zero is presented as a true revolution within the already revolutionary electric car segment.
The Tazzari Zero has four driving modes that adapt the power and consumption according to the type of driving and traffic conditions. The modes are Race, Standard, Economy and Wet (sporty, normal, economical and wet). At less than three metres long and weighing just over 500 kg, you can imagine the “possibilities” of this car. Reaching its top speed of 90 km/h is effortless, while it reaches 50 km/h in under 5 seconds in the process.
One of the most astonishing things is its price, since in Italy at least it will be sold for 18,000 euros, minus Italian government incentives for buying electric vehicles. Does it seem that the electric car will finally become more affordable?
