Do you like the convertible version of the Mercedes C63 S but feel it lacks a bit more sportiness? Brabus has a solution for you. The renowned German tuner has revealed a radical version of the Mercedes AMG C63 S Cabrio that it will present at the Geneva Motor Show. The model, dubbed Brabus 650 Cabrio, has received significant upgrades over the model it is based on.

Brabus’s proposal keeps the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine of the standard model but raises its output from 510 CV to 641 CV, while its torque rises to 820 Nm. These figures allow the C63 version to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds (0.2 seconds faster than the base model) and give it a top speed of over 320 km/h.

It will be presented in Geneva and features elements such as an exhaust system with electronically controlled soundThe performance increase of Brabus’s AMG C63 S was made possible by the use of new turbochargers, a recalibrated ECU (electronic control unit), and the addition of several carbon-fiber aerodynamic parts. This model receives new front and rear bumpers, 20-inch alloy wheels, a steel exhaust system with electronically controlled sound, and a completely redesigned interior. The start&stop system may be fitted to this model to slightly reduce fuel consumption.

Brabus has yet to announce the price of this power and styling kit, but it is expected to considerably exceed the base price of the Mercedes AMG C63 S Cabrio: €107,000. Most likely, all our questions will be answered next week following the official unveiling of the model at the Geneva Motor Show.
