Bugatti presents the Veyron convertible

It was already rumoured in the past that this would happen, and in the end it has come to pass, since Bugatti wants to please those select customers who miss a little sun in their hair when driving their Veyron.

Today the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport was officially announced, which is basically a Veyron with no roof, in Targa form (rather than a convertible), since the rest of the vehicle remains the same as its closed variant. From the images, the roof appears to be metal, and not canvas as on the Murciélago Roadster, for example.

It will be presented on 16 August at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, in California, where the first unit will be auctioned by “Gooding and Company”, and its price will surely reach figures that, even with a generous stretch of the imagination, would be close to those that will be heard.
