Volvo has announced the launch of an ultra-luxurious version of its flagship model, the XC90 SUV. Called XC90 Excellence, it offers a highly refined interior for four passengers, where the second-row occupants will enjoy power-adjustable massage seats, reinforced sound insulation and a new multimedia system.

Both design exercises are previews of a possible urban crossover and a coupé-style saloon, respectively. Neither will go into production, but they do anticipate the aesthetic evolution of the brands’ future models in certain body details.
