Changan brings its Deepal brand's range of vehicles to Spain and other new European markets
With this new step, the Chinese firm demonstrates its commitment to becoming a relevant player in the competitive European electric market, betting on competitive prices and a range of practical, technologically advanced SUVs.
Chinese manufacturer Changan is stepping on the accelerator in expanding its operations across the continent, boosting the availability of its Deepal brand vehicles in new European markets. The company has already launched operations in both Spain and Italy and has also confirmed its entry into Denmark.
In Italy, Deepal sells two fully electric models: the compact SUV S05 and the mid-size S07. Starting prices in this market are 39,990 euros for the S05 and 44,990 euros for the S07. It is worth noting, however, that while the S07 keeps the same price as in Germany, the S05 is a thousand euros more expensive in the Italian market than in Germany, where it starts at 38,990 euros.

Although prices have not yet been revealed nor official specifications published, the plug-in hybrid versions of both SUVs should also be available in the coming weeks.
Spain is also part of this offensive by the Chinese manufacturer. The first units of these two SUVs, the Deepal S05 and S07, have begun to arrive in our country. Changan is now starting to sell the fully electric versions, but has promised that the plug-in hybrid versions will be available next year, 2026.
Deepal’s European expansion is taking shape
With the arrival of Deepal vehicles in Spain and Italy, this Changan brand now operates in a total of eight European countries, with the first two joining the list formed by Germany, the United Kingdom, Norway, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Sweden. The next step will be Denmark, where Deepal will land in early 2026 thanks to an agreement with the importer Andersen Motors.

As in other markets before, the first models available in the Danish market will again be the electric S05 and S07 SUVs, which offer a range of up to 485 km under the WLTP homologation cycle, fast charging of up to 200 kW and a comprehensive warranty package.

Changan Europe has celebrated this new expansion of its operations on the continent, underscoring its goal of offering sustainable and innovative mobility to an ever-wider audience.
